Nice family pub chain, I only been twice in Richmond, very good price for a Sunday roast..... but I didn't like the food that much part the little slice of beef which was really soft and tasty.The pork was dry and the vegetables were overcooked and no taste at all, green peas in particular.The potatoes looked nice roasted outside.. inside were like a marshmallow texture soggy like from frozen.Service was average, not been attended for more then 15mins after getting a table to order the drinks.Hope it was just a bad day
We regularly visit Toby carvery and this is our local one but not the best. Food is always as plentiful and tasty as ever but it's the little things that make the difference. Keeping on top of the wiping down the spillage and topping up sauces. We arrived on a really quiet night and instead of clearing up servers where all in the kitchen. Tables and chairs could do with a deep clean. Staff are welcoming and friendly. We will return cos We like a roast.
Some nice service. A couple of Waitresses were busy being super helpful for a lot of people, but ours didn't keep anyone waiting as she knew what she was doing
Fantastic food and an affordable price. Makes it worth for a roast dinner. Drinks were well priced and they had a lot on tap which was a bonus too. The app is a great addition to the restaurant.
Typical Toby carvery sited close to the Thames and an historic part of England. Excellent food and service although essential to book for Sunday roast as is very busy. However there are tables extra to the dining area where carvery meals can be eaten if busy. Table service throughout, all you can drink soft drinks available. Very popular and can be very busy can accommodate large groups as well as single diners. Parking on site and in the summer outside tables available
